Overview

Service Overview

NW Fuel Injection Services provides mechanical diesel injector testing and rebuilding for conventional injectors, two spring injectors, most diesel engines built before 2000, and select off road engines built before 2010. Each injector is tested for spray pattern, nozzle chatter, opening pressure, and leaks before repair decisions are made.

Mechanical Injector Service

Testing Before Rebuilding

Mechanical diesel injector testing equipment for spray pattern and opening pressure checks in Surrey BC

Mechanical injector service begins with accurate testing. Our technicians check the spray pattern, nozzle chatter, opening pressure, and leak condition so the injector can be evaluated before any parts are replaced. This helps identify worn nozzles, weak springs, sealing issues, and poor atomization that can cause smoke, hard starting, rough idle, fuel knock, or uneven cylinder performance.

  • Spray pattern inspection for proper atomization
  • Nozzle chatter verification during pop testing
  • Opening pressure measurement and calibration
  • Leak testing at the nozzle and injector body
  • Initial condition documented before repair

Internal Inspection

Rebuild Decisions Based On Condition

Mechanical diesel injector rebuilding and internal inspection at NW Fuel Injection Services

Unlike gasoline fuel injectors, many mechanical diesel injectors can be disassembled for a deeper internal inspection. We take the injector apart, clean and examine the internal components, then separate reusable parts from worn, repairable, or replaceable parts. The goal is to rebuild what makes sense while protecting the reliability of the fuel system.

  • Injector body, nozzle, spring, shim, and sealing surfaces inspected
  • Reusable parts retained when they meet service requirements
  • Worn parts replaced with quality components
  • Assembly completed with correct washers and seals
  • Final calibration completed before return

OEM Advantage

OEM Equipment And Nozzles When Available

OEM diesel fuel injector calibration and final leak testing for mechanical injectors

Using OEM authorized test equipment with OEM products gives the most precise way to examine diesel fuel components. When possible, original equipment manufacturer nozzles are used during the rebuild. After assembly, each injector is checked again for opening pressure, spray pattern, nozzle chatter, and leaks before it leaves our Surrey workshop.

  • OEM nozzles used whenever application coverage allows
  • Calibration performed after assembly
  • Final test confirms the injector is ready for installation
  • Returned with a complete installation set of washers and seals

Service Fit

Injectors We Service

Conventional Mechanical Injectors

Testing and overhaul for common mechanical diesel injector styles used on older light duty, commercial, agricultural, marine, and industrial engines.

Two Spring Mechanical Injectors

Primary and secondary opening pressures can be measured so calibration is matched to the injector design and engine requirements.

Most Engines Before 2000

Support for many legacy diesel engines that rely on serviceable mechanical injectors instead of electronic common rail injection.

Select Off Road Engines

Service coverage for many off road diesel applications built before 2010, depending on injector type and parts availability.
