Overview
Common rail injectors are more complex than older mechanical diesel injectors and require a different testing process. NW Fuel Injection Services uses the Bosch EPS205 computerized test bench to operate common rail injectors in conditions that closely match real world diesel operation, then measures leak rates, start behavior, idle quantity, pilot injection, emissions quantity, full load quantity, and actuator resistance.

Common rail injectors are increasingly common in modern diesel engines, but they are also much less tolerant of poor fuel quality than older injector designs. Our testing begins with an external clean, followed by a pre test to measure injector performance as received. The Bosch EPS205 lets our technicians evaluate each injector under controlled high pressure conditions before repair decisions are made.

Each injector is externally cleaned before testing so dirt does not affect the test process or equipment.
