Overview
NW Fuel Injection Services tests mechanical and electronic integrated diesel fuel injection systems, including HEUI injectors and electronic unit injectors. For unit injector testing, our Surrey shop uses Hartridge AVM2PC and HI2000 HEUI injector test stands to evaluate high pressure oil actuated injectors and heavy duty EUI applications with controlled RPM, pulse width, control pressure, temperature monitoring, and stiction testing.
HEUI Testing
The HI2000 HEUI injector test stand was custom built in Canada and first introduced in the spring of 2000. It was developed to meet the industry standard for testing Ford 7.3 Powerstroke and Navistar DT466E injectors. NW Fuel has upgraded this bench so it can test nearly every high pressure oil actuated injector in operation today.
Bench Capabilities
HEUI injectors rely on high pressure oil actuation, so accurate testing needs more than a simple flow check. Our bench can control and monitor operating conditions that directly affect injector performance, including stroke count, temperature, RPM, pulse width, and control pressure. This helps diagnose issues such as stiction, poppet valve leakage, and inconsistent fuel delivery.
EUI Service
NW Fuel also tests and services many electronic unit injectors used in heavy duty diesel engines. This includes CAT, Cummins, Detroit, and Volvo injectors. Fast moving injectors may be available from stock, and customer injectors can be tested and repaired in a timely manner based on the application and parts availability.

Process
Injector type, engine application, and required HEUI or EUI test parameters are confirmed before testing.
The injector is tested for stroke, RPM, pulse width, control pressure, temperature behavior, poppet valve sealing, and stiction where applicable.
Results are reviewed to determine whether the injector can be serviced, should be repaired, or needs replacement.
Post service verification confirms injector operation at the correct RPM, pulse width, control pressure, and test conditions.
